CONGRATULATIONS to MICHELE GARBER for receiving one of this year's University Teaching Awards!
Michele Garber, the Assistant Director of the Pre-Health Professions Learning Community at Reynolds Hall, is an Assistant In Nutrition, Food and Exercise Sciences in FSU's Department of Nutrition, Food and Exercise Sciences.
At the annual Faculty Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 9, FSU Provost Lawrence G. Abele read these words of praise:
"She never disrespects students or makes them feel uncomfortable or inferior when they make mistakes." "Michele has been a positive influence and role model for my development as a student." "She is the mother/cheerleader of the athletic training majors." "She is my most favorite teacher. She really cares for the students and wants to see them prosper." "Character is defined as a set of qualities that makes somebody distinctive-for this, she stands out as the one of the best teachers that FSU has to offer."
As you can see, we're all very proud of our colleague's accomplishments!
